Salvador Munoz -- a participant of Grameen's International Dialogue Program -- now works as a voluntary consultant preaching and promoting Grameen Based Approach (GBA) in Central America. He has helped in organizing a series of workshops and seminars in Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua to promote village banking system that directly applies GBA. The objectives of these programs were to :
carry out a comparative analysis of the Village Bank methodology : Grameen Bank & FINCA International.
develop a plan of action to help existing institutions for promoting microcredit.
formulate institutional plans of action for consideration of the Microcredit Summit and Grameen Trust.
assist in adoption of measures that can lead to financial viability in micro- enterprise financing methodologies
