GS scholarships are assisting hundreds of poor meritorious students carry on their studies. Many of the scholars – without the scholarship support from GS – would have to drop out of studies.
GS scholars are doing very well in exams too. In 2010 secondary school finals 161 GS scholars got 'A+' (49 Golden A+). Another 158 got 'A' and 38 got 'A-'. In 2009 higher secondary finals 84 GS scholars got 'A+' (7 Golden A+). Another 107 got 'A' and 35 got 'A-'. Many GS scholars who started to receive scholarships when they were in high schools are now studying business, engineering, medicine, literature and social sciences in colleges and universities. Many of them are certainly going to emerge as leaders in the near future.
