SHARE Wins Award

Mr. Udaia Kumar’s work in microcredit won him the Changemaker Award  in Hyderabad in October, where the organisation he founded, SHARE, was lauded for bringing a business approach to the alleviation of poverty, so that thousands of individuals could work their way out of poverty with dignity.
The award, given by the Foundation for Human and Social Development, is based on a belief “in the inherent motivation and capacity of all human beings for progress” and seeks to reward individuals whose work provides the “opportunity and adequate environment to catalyze this process.”  Congratulations, Udaia!
